Picked up my Aero not too long ago from member Juicebox out in UT. He was great to deal with and obviously took very good care of this car; it's clean! My plan is to do a basic stage 2 package to keep the reliability intact while making it a bit more enjoyable. So far I'm loving it and couldn't be happier with my purchase.
First fill up the night I received it:
The stock wheels had to go so after looking around for awhile I sourced these bronze gram lights for a steal locally:
First wash:
I'm having it re-tinted this week and cannot wait to see it blacked out I'll update this thread as things change. I need to have some real photos taken soon and will throw them up when I have them.

Looks great! Stage 2 makes a huge difference. I'd throw on some RA flaps too

Thanks man! From what I've read stage 2 is like a completely different car. I can't wait

My old car brings tears to my eyes. Glad to see it go to an enthusiast. Stick around.
btw: what's going on with the front mudguards and missing rears?

I'm not sure, you'll have to ask juicebox about that. I will be adding the rears soon, though.

I only put the fronts on to protect the doors/rocker panels from rocks and such. I didn't bother putting the rears on because I saw another 92x with them on all 4 and it looked weird. They just looked really out of place on the back, and I didn't feel like they would protect much anyway. They are just Pro-Fits, you can get them at autozone or o'reillys or whatever. I'd go with some RA flaps thouugh, the Pro-fits work well with stock-width wheels, but for anything wider, they just don't cover it.
Those wheels look great, I love bronze wheels! I'm glad you made a PMR thread and I'm happy the car went to someone that will treat it well.

YES! Finally you have your car, and I bet it feels great! Can't wait to see you around town. Definitely PM me your info and we'll hook up to work on these things. I have a couple WRX wagon buddies in town too that would likely be down for a cruise. I'll talk to my photographer friend too if you want to do a little photo shoot.
I like the look of it, but should you come up with any design ideas you know I'm close enough to fab some stuff for you. If you want to make a lip or anything like that just let me know. You can either buy the materials and I'll do it for you, or I can teach you how. We can make any design you can come up with.

I really like those Rays. I did some light internet searching but couldn't find what I thought to be an assertive weight estimate. Are they as light as they look?
Looking good.

I am pretty stoked on the car that's for sure! Makes me want to sell my 300zx and just focus on the aero.
Sweet man, I'm def down for a cruise some time. I'll shoot you a PM. I appreciate the willingness to help out, I'll see what I can come up with.

Thanks! I didn't weigh them but I can def say they were very light for an 18" wheel. It was really quite surprising how little they weighed. I originally wanted some gold BBS but I came across these for a steal that couldn't be passed up!

Thanks! I agree it could be a bit lower but for now I'm going leave it as is. It has epic springs on stock struts for now.

I think the suspension is perfect! They ride great, and look great. My red car is 3/4"-1" lower and I think it's too low. I can't imagine how much I would stress out about driving with an ever lower car.

Looks really nice. Great purchase!
What are you driving now Juicebox?

So you liked the epic/stock strut combo? I have the Cobb/stock strut combo and I can't stand it living in a place with brick streets. I may go this route.

So between the the COBB and the Epic springs which did you like better? My COBB are very unforgiving and I'm ready for a change. Is there that much difference between them?

Well, I have Koni inserts with the COBB springs, those Epics just had the stock struts. I'd say the best of both worlds would be Epic springs with Koni struts. Still, the stock struts and Epic springs combo rides great...
In short, if I were buying springs, I'd probably want to buy Epics. They are just low enough to give it a good drop, but still enough ground clearance to be practical.
