Here are some AccessPORT Tips from my experience in the last day or so. If you have any to add, post them.

You must connect both the green test connectors and the white initialization connector when changing base maps, installing, or un-installing the AccessPORT.
This isn't indicated in the AccessPORT user manual, but on the 9-2x, you must use the white connector when changing base maps. I twist-tied my initialization connector to the diagnostic port plug so that I don't lose it. If you have an AccessPORT, go write this in the manual on the page about changing base maps. If you do not plug in the white connector, you will get a voltage too low error, but nothing bad will happen.

Does this apply to 06's and AP v2?

Honestly I do not know, I would contact COBB

Just noting that Cobb pulled  04 to 05 AP reprogram utility  off their website(s).  If you can't find the file (I'm trying to find somebody with it right now on NASIOC) so it looks like you have to send your AP in for reprogramming for a nominal fee.  I've heard as low as $20 and as high as $50 for this service.  I'm gathering more info about this and will post an update later.  ** Ryan

Here you go, 04->05 and 05->04 flash files.

Re: AccessPORT Tips

Nope, that will be fine for you saabnoob.  Only change the map if you're adding an aftermarket downpipe.

Re: AccessPORT Tips

So I've tried searching for what I'm looking for but am having issues.

I've seen people talk about the paper clip (instead of the init connector) use to get the thing to get proper voltage and all.

Can anyone here guide me on how to do that, guide me in the direction to find my answer at, or should I just wait until Monday and pay $5+shipping and get it Wed/Thu from Cobb? I know I've heard of people doing it other ways before but am having trouble finding it.

Just a cam and a tune.
