so i was thinking of doin this until i get the entire car repainted (the roof has some small rust spots that were "fixed" by the previous owner and the hoodscoop inlet is fading)! let me know what you think.
roof- vinyl wrapped flat black
spoiler- vinyl wrapped flat black
hoodscoop inlet- vinyl wrapped flat black
grille- pasti dipped black
crossbars- rhino lined

flat black is a little cheap looking imo and no wrapped car ever looks right.
How are the red lights? Doesn't it tire/bother your eyes after a while?
Nice looking car definitely one of the more unique 92x's i've seen on the site.

The only thing that would look good in black would be the grille in my opinion, but even that I think would look better as is. Black trim just doesn't look all that good on a silver car. Don't become an Aggie Jr. Anyone have a picture of his car to show what I mean?

i doubt the offset is anywhere near subaru's spec. I wouldn't lower it that fast.
His rotas on the other-hand are nearly a perfect fit.

i have some cobb springs that i just have not put on yet! the vw wheels actually looked pretty nice on it and the offset wasnt that aggresive but it was a little moar than stockers.
as far as the red lights...i love them. they are very easy on the night vision. the plane i fly on has all the circuit breaker panels, gauges and indicators all red (95%) when we darken the tube. it looks cool!

alright so heres my idea:
-black rally pig trunk/hood emblems
-black rally pig airbag emblem
-black rally pig center caps for my rotas
-flat black grille
-flat black fog light surrounds
-flat black trunk emblems (9-2x & Aero)
-flat black vinyl wrap on roof
-slick the roof (no more roof racks)
-respray hoodscoop inlet and new mirrors
-yellow fog light tint
-tail light tint

Don't do flat black, ask for low gloss' black instead, flat is cheap and looks like primer. You have black hvac gauges! That is very sought after since people paint there center console black! Add the sti aluminum trim ring and paint it black, I think it'll look much better. If you want OEM black plastic look, do duplicolor engine enamel low gloss black. I can show pictures of what it looks like on a front and rear lip on a miata

i dont but i do want them and may be getting some soon! the pic just looks like they are! thanks for the input! i was talking to the guy that will be doing the roof and he said the low gloss looks cool and is popular!

Been meaning to take a few pictures of the seats and door cards i put in...so here they are! 07 WRX Sport front seats and 05 WRX door cards. they match perfect

i had one sorced to match but they wanted like 300 for it and i think that ill just get one when i get back off deployment! they are def going though!

anybody know where i can find a write up on removing the headlights?
i need to take them out and buff them b/c they are getting hazzy. Then im going to put on some headlight armor!

just tape around the headlights.

there are other reasons as to why i need to take them out...ie one of them is fogging up and i need to clean it and i need to install new headlight harnesses and they go all the way under them!

well you need to take off your front bumper to begin with. then you can get to the lower bolts for the headlights. look in the tech section for the downloadable manuals.

yep! if you can undo 8 bolts, 3 connectors and lift then they are. way better than the 92x ish! i swear with the 9-2x they used older stuff from WRX's. IE...in 2005 the WRX ej205 had a plastic top coolant tank, but in 04 they were metal. My 05's metal which makes me think its an 04 motor. The seats seem to be 02-03 WRX seats just recovered 
.
But now shes coming along nicely!
