Amazing rider and driver skills in that vid.
I love those Speed Triples, but that Terminator Cobra is so badass!

I would not get in that thing if someone paid me.
I would have to take it for a spin once or twice. Probably reminding myself the whole time not to push it to its limits. There may not be much more safety features in an Ariel Atom.

That thing must have 10/90 weight distribution.

On quick road test, the wife gets annoying though

Having built / designed a portion of the suspension on my C-10, I can relate to the smile on his face when he came back!
I looked at some of the things he posted on the car and for the most part - I think he did pretty good. I don't agree with some of the structure he chose. For example: He gets rear-ended, the forces are going to travel through the top tube of the "engine compartment". That joint will most likely do one of two things:
1) Break the weld and project forward past the "B Pillar(?)" - if it goes to the outside, you're lucky, if it goes to the inside, you're skewered;
2) Bend the "B Pillar" above the spot where the beltline ties in, i.e. his makeshift little rollbar is going to come forward and smack him upside the head.
(not to mention each passenger has a potential spear aimed at their throat)

Ugh, that wife. If I were that dude, I wouldn't have come back from that test drive.

Oh, and stainless flexpipe FTL. Why custom fit and weld the entire chassis then top it off with such shitty exhaust (that is at penis-level).

Here is the same car, but finished:
And a road test:
What engine is that? Some truck motor?

that's a fantastic project. it's just a shame that the donor car had to be an Automatic. kind of defeats the purpose of a track-car.

Doesn't really matter. You'd be arriving L8er at the finish line anyways.

But it's more technologically advanced, so it's better!
(I do agree that it's a cool idea though. )

Announcement went public this morning, and in the 7 hours since, I've placed units in 75% of my A and B level accounts. And I didnt call a single one...they called me.

Trust me, I'd much rather have one of these 260hp LT1 Fleetwood monstrosities over my FWDLOL Deville. Unfortunately, clean examples are ultra rare.
The good news is I'll probably save a lot of money this way. My Deville has literally nothing available in the way of speed parts, whereas I'd be compelled to spend thousands getting the Fleetwood low and into the 12s.
