9-2x The Gun Thread

I guess I'll start it if it hasn't been started already. Post anything you like concerning guns: questions, opinions, suggestions and proud pieces.

My dad just got one. It's ridiculous! Blasting a shotgun shell out of a handgun is just silly good fun. You would love it! Now that you are out there with all "the gays" you will need to protect your ass from man rape. Get one and dont look back! (Or do look back actually)

Edit: forgot you encourage ass rape, buy one anyways

Agreed, guns are scary.

The Judge is powerful gun. An electrician friend of mine has one. More than person stopping power.

Check. Thanx for the heads up. I tried a search, couldn't find one, I'll be more diligent on the search.

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

If i find one for cheap, i'd buy it just for fun.

Also (and i know Kap can chime in on this at least), my S&W M&P 15-22 got me hooked on the 'black rifle' thing... and now I want a real one.  Leaning towards a 7.62 model, for more stopping power and so I can use russian ammo if we ever get invaded, but open to suggestions.  Not sure I wanna do a full build myself, unless it'll save significant $$$, so complete rifles would be preferred.  annnnnnnd go!

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

I've grown my arsenal considerably recently:

Mosberg 500 with pistol grip, no buttstock and breaching style muzzle brake

Yugoslavian SKS with sweet Tapco furniture and adjustable M4 stock

Hi-point 9mm. I wish it was a .40 instead of this baby cartridge. So much more knockdown and stopping power!

I'm going to get a WASR pistol (what a hand cannon!) and a Judge to round out the collection!

Buy a Saiga 5.45 rifle. You can convert it to accept AK-74 mags. The gun is the cheapest way to get a real russian AK, and by using 5.45x39, you can get soviet ammo for something like $120/1080 rounds which is pretty ridiculous.

This will be my next project.

arrow-left Oh and I am a fan of Glocks if it weren't obvious, although I have MANY others.

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

Why buy a Glock when you can get a sweet Jennings/Lorcin for so much cheaper? And it's smaller so you can keep it in your pocket

those ammo prices are why I got my M10-A2.  It's cheaper to shoot than my 9mm.  biggrin  Thanks to a parkerized finish and a chrome lined barrel, it eats corrosively primed Yugo ball "METAK" without thinking twice, and that shit makes good groups.  I'm under 1 moa.

Squirrel season opens sept 1.  Going out saturday with the .22lr.

me or kap?  I picked up a Ruger LC9 (and more recently a crimson trace laserguard for it) earlier this year.  trigger pull is longer than one of AbA's chest hairs, and it's got too many safeties, but other than that I like it.

Thanks for the rifle suggestions, I'll do some more looking around.
