Anyone alive in here?
Saw a black tinted Aero a few times on Southwest parkway heading east this summer (month or so ago, saw it a few times). Came off Southwest parkway onto Boston Lane, then flip around on 290 East.
Blue Linear parked at Oak Hill HEB at the Y on 71/290 last Wednesday.
A tinted silver Aero driving on William Cannon, then South on Brodie Lane towards Slaughter last Friday - around 7pm.
Silver Linear with roof racks today in William Cannon/Brodie Ln vicinity.

Still here but driving the convertible a little more frequently as the temps begin to cool. If you spot my Aero you'll definitely take note of the new license plate. I wonder who will be first to post it under this thread?

Just saw an Arctic Silver 9-2X Aero in my parking garage at 6th and Brazos. It has Subaru wheels, an "empire" sticker on the back, a big rearview mirror, and some blinky deal where the clock/gauge pod goes:
Mine is the Satin Grey on the right.

Its on Legacy GT wheels, empire sticker is gone, and the blinky light is the Compustar alarm / remote start and my V1 mount is in there
pretty basic Aero with no options, just hit 40k tonight

I just saw a black 2.5i going southbound on MoPac at around the 45th street exit. It was driven by a woman who seemed more interested in the phone call that she was on than the fact that I was trying to give her a

Its pretty awesome. I'm still young so I'm 100% fine with a little bit of noise. Theres construction going on outside right now on Brazos which is loud, and the bars are loud weekend nights till like 2:35, but I'm out there or up doing something at those times.
I've met most of the people on this floor and everyone seems extremely cool. I just got back from a party over with the guy who lives in unit 501, and met some of the other neighbors in this complex.
I'm fresh out of the West Campus area, so this is exponentially better. I've only been here a month though, maybe I'll hate something after few more months. So far though, management is awesome. The landlord is the most laid back guy possible, and anything maintenance request we filled out was handled professionally and quickly, I was amazed.

I'm likely quite a bit older than JohnnyBeagle (I'm 32 - back at Texas for my MBA) but I dig living downtown. I wear earplugs to bed every night - fucking bucket drummer makes it a necessity.
There's also the rat problem... I've caught FIVE rats in my apartment in the last 2 weeks. The management team has been on it but ABC pest control has not.
On the whole, it's fun. When I'm done with my masters I'll be buying a house.

If you're still young, live downtown. Every Austinite needs to experience that, it's a blast. Actually, all the areas you listed have their charm though.

Actually, I live in old west austin now (love caffe medici, overall the area is a bit too high-class for me), and lived downtown a few years ago, and shoal creek/38th a few years before that (kinda miss being able to walk to draught house!).
Plus I went to UT, So I've lived all around north/west campus.
I find myself walking/biking to things whenever I can, and was pretty bummed when I was living in far south austin suburbs a few years ago. I honestly wish more suburbs were developed like hyde park/old west austin (mueller doesn't count - I need to be able to walk to a convenience store and a coffee shop). 78704 is promising too (I see a few places up for sale around bouldin creek), haven't explored it too much lately. I don't think I can handle outside noise anymore (you reminded me of back when I heard cars being towed all night back when I lived just west of 6th/guadalupe).
Overall, I need to get myself in a better position to afford a place in the neighborhoods I keep dreaming off (working on it), or find a cheaper city to live in

My lil' red Aero was at 2nd and San Jacinto from when I bought it in '05 till about '07 at my office. Then it's usually on South Congress or now off Manchaca when I'm up there...
See a ton of Linear's in Houston, only seen about 2 Aero's in 2 years here...

Saw a red 9-2X headed northbound on Guadalupe at about 2:30 yesterday. I tried to catch up but there were too many idiots in the way.
