Lets start with the tried and true "Saabaru"
Im sure this is already taken so anyone got any clever tag ideas?

In my state (Virginia), you can have 7 characters max, or 8 characters, but 1 character must be a dash. I tried these using the VA DMV's online tool:
SAABARU (already taken in VA)
SAABURU
SABARU
SUBASAB
NOT-SAAB
SAAB-NOT
92X-WRX (and vice versa)
92X-AWD
92x-AERO
GR8-DEAL (taken)
GMS-LOSS (our gain :-)
Those aren't very clever. I'm sure ya'll have more ideas...

I plan on claiming SAABARU in Idaho, seeing as how I'm the only one in the state right now, lol! I'm also fond of FAUXSAB

In MI you can only have 7 letters (Damn you IL and others with 8) so I always think in 7 letters or lest
I think someone on this board had the nick: rdy4flt - that's a good one if you own an Aero

Is it just me or does anyone else find it goofy when people get a personalized plate that says the same exact thing the badges on the back of their car say? Why would you pay to have 92X Aero put on a plate when there are already 2 badges on the back of the car that say the same thing? Personally I just don't get it but people seem to do it all the time. That and the people that get a new car and put the year on the plate. Like "99 Audi".......I mean that's cool when the car is brand new or if you have a really old car (67 Stang) but after the next model year comes out but it's kinda lame letting the world know you have last years model. ;-)

In CT you need to seperate numbers from letters with a dot.... basically makes most cool plates impossible... check out these limitations.
A. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 letters. Plates may include a dot between letters.
B. 1 letter followed by 1,2,3,4 or 5 numbers
C. 2 letters followed by 1,2,3 or 4 numbers
D. 3 letters followed by 1,2 or 3 numbers
E. 4 letters followed by 1 or 2 numbers
F. 5 letters followed by 1 number
G. 1,2,3,4 or 5 numbers followed by 1 letter
H. 1,2,3, or 4 numbers followed by 2 letters
I. 1 or 2 numbers followed by 3 or 4 letters
J. 1 number followed by 5 letters
K. Numbers: 00001 through and including 99999
L. Numbers: 000001 through and including 999999, must have a dot between the third and fourth numbers.
ohh! sabaru is available in CT!

I'm not so sure you need to have a dot separation (only applicable to all numbers), but the fact that you can't mix n match letters and numbers blows. Here's a good one for CT: LAMPL8
