wax on new car

the car is brand new so the paint (clear finish) is highly glossy...no swirls yet and looks really good; do any of you new car owners still give a wax treatment to your glossy new paint? hmm

My dealer waxed the car before they delivered it to me.  Looks decent, but they were a bit sloppy.  You should definitely put some wax on it if the dealer hadn't done it.  Any good carnuba wax will work, e.g., Meguiar's, Mother's, Zaino, Zymöl (not store bought).
