When I opened this and saw that first picture of all the household crap blocking it I really thought it was exactly the picture one would expect after all this.

It's not that bad! Just my kid's stroller...and the floor jack...and some other stuff...
The garage is in quite a messier state now that I'm off and on working on the van do fix error codes and whatnot.

Somehow I envisioned it being white like all the others out there, but what a great surprise/relief to see the blue!

It's funny - the first van I looked at was white, and I really liked it. My wife said hell no, though. I really wanted a red one, too, but I've come to think this dark blue is the best color for me.

Looks very nice.
Skip Rain-X and use AquaPel (https://www.tirerack.com/accessories/de … amp;ID=200). Do not buy it on Amazon, as the odds of getting a counterfeit are way to high. It lasts for up to 6 months with no issue and snow and ice come off real easy.

An update, this thing was recently sold on cars and bids. I was shocked when I stumbled across it. Turned out awesome and a ton of positive feedback on it.

It really was. But, in the end, it was just a matter of the fact that it had been 6+ years with the thing and I didn't have the same priorities and life situation anymore as when I started it. I did enjoy driving it for the year or so I had it in my possession, but it didn't bring the same joy it would have years ago.
After getting used to the luxury of the Saab, I developed a bit of a new taste. So, I decided to sell it. Overall I lost money, of course, but the final price was more than reasonable to me. I've bought a 2016 340xi 6MT to replace it and the Saab which will be up for sale soon.
