Saab 92 Forum : Saab92x.com / Brake line leak at 4-way connector (Subaru recall?)

Has anyone dealt with a brake line leak at the 4-way joint connector in front of the rear passenger wheel? I had my parking brake dash light come on yesterday and discovered that my brake fluid reservoir level was below the low marking. It looks like it might be the same issue in this Subaru recall even though the 2005 WRX isn't included: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2014/R … 1-4153.pdf

Looks like the remedy according to Subaru is replacing all of the brake lines, but I'm curious if anyone has had to fix this (and potentially gotten a Subaru dealer to do the work for free as a recall!)

I remember folks couldn't even get warranty work done at Subaru dealers, so I bet its unlikely to get a recall done. Would have to go through whatever is left of the Saab organization

You don't have a Subaru, SOA will not cover this work, the dealer will show you the door. Ignoring all that, the recall I've seen (WQK-47) doesn't even cover GD/GG cars.

Yep, this all makes sense...just wanted to make sure someone hadn't found a way to get a GM dealer (or Subaru) to cover the work before doing it out of pocket!
