FS: 2005 9-2X Aero 5-speed

2005 Saab 9-2X Aero 5-speed manual.  The car has a new from Subaru short block and rebuilt heads installed by sigma Tec (a great Subaru shop in Columbus) about 13,750 miles ago.  It is nearly all stock and has been well cared for.  I am 69 years old and tend to drive quite gently.

I bought the car from the owner of Sigma Tec who is a superb mechanic and who I know and trust completely.  He got the car with a blown engine and was not certain if the ECU had been modified by the previous owner.  Therefore we bought a Cobb Accessport in order to install an ECU map that we knew was safe for the engine.  I didn't want anything as aggressive (18 psi peak boost) as the Cobb stage 1 program so I got a custom etune from highly recommended Torqued Performance. This is a very mild tune which produces about 11 psi peak boost.  I mostly use the car for road trips and am very happy with this tune.  It's tuned for 93 octane and I get between 29 and 30 mpg on the road. The Cobb stage 1 program can be installed in about 10 minutes and I paid $150 for the custom etune.

I put 17" Subaru wheels on with a set of Goodyear Eagle GT all season tires. They are evenly worn and have decent life left in them.�  I also have the original Saab Aero 16" Enkie wheels if preferred.

Other details:

The interior of this car is in excellent condition.

New from Subaru 2 litre short block, rebuilt heads, and a new radiator.

The pads are somewhat similar to Hawk HPS.�  I have had both and prefer these.

The A/C and everything works.

There is no rust on the body and it looks good but it has endured the slings and arrows that come with 150,000 miles on the road.

DBowman, your car sounds good. Some things you should know about our forum; there is only a handful of active members.
In order to legitimize your sale thread you must post pictures of your vehicle and one picture showing feet and meat. Also, most people here will be interested in pictures showing the rear strut towers inside the car. Rust is a well known issue at the strut towers and nobody here will pay your asking price if the strut towers are in bad condition. Take a look at some recent car for sale threads here so you can understand what you are about to experience here.
