FS: '06 Unicorn. 78k miles

This thread has documented my time with this car: https://www.saab92x.com/viewtopic.php?p … 0#p1590480

As it is now:
rust-free strut towers
78k miles (first five years and 30k miles were in Texas)
Stock turbo/tmic/tune
Handles well (Tokico D-specs, Epic springs)
Timing belt and water pump done 3-4 years ago
Winter tires on factory 16's
factory HID, cold weather, sunroof
5spd manual transmission
cloth seats
No liens
very healthy compression and leakdown numbers when I had it tested in... '17?
original clutch and transmission
both remotes + both keys + valet key + window sticker + original documentation

Flaws:
two good-sized scratches (8-12" long, maybe 3/16" thick, down to primer) on passenger side (gf worked with the elderly and apparently one scraped it in the parking lot -twice- with their walker... I couldn't even be mad)
Assorted chips and dings
Little bubbling starting on driver's side rear wheel arch
Rear seats and some trim panels are out (installed backup cam, checked strut towers, and never got around to putting it back together- nice thing is it was easy to get a pic of the strut towers)
One accident, wasn't really thrilled with the repair and gave up fighting with the shop and insurance company. Rear hatch doesn't sit perfect.

If you're interested, pm me with an offer or questions. Pics below.

$4.5k

Strut tower with yesterday's newspaper so you know it wasn't taken years ago:

Finally, the obligatory feet and meat (plus the newspaper to tie it back to the strut tower pic).

Images fixed. Seems like this site was rejecting loading images from a non-ssl site. Added SSL on my hosting side and it's all good.

Re: FS: '06 Unicorn. 78k miles

LinuxChick, saabroo, and drewsro.... I can totally relate, and it's exactly why I've held onto this one for so long even when I've had newer cars to drive. I've been in a turbo wagon of this generation since 2003 and after 17 years of sitting in these seats and doing a considerable amount of maintenance and mods... it's comfortable and instinctive in ways that newer cars don't come close to matching. This one is by far the one I've kept longest; I think it will be 10 years in June.

I'm certain I'll miss it (I still get a kick just out of seeing it, to say nothing about taking it for a spin).

Someone give this car the home it deserves. driving

Re: FS: '06 Unicorn. 78k miles

The car is now mostly back to stock, and I'd like to be done with it. I don't want to be bothered with putting the back seat and hatch interior back together. And it's probably missing a bunch of screws and oddball trim bits.

Anyone here want it, as-is, for $4.5k with the rear seat/seatbelts and hatch trim rattling around in a pile in the back? If not, I may offer it on nastysock or just donate it to local NPR station.
