Re: Finally! Solid overall production figures for the 9-2x!

For anyone interested, KrazyKarGuy sent me the spreadsheet and gave me permission to import it into Google Docs, so everyone can view it.

Lots of good data here, but not 100% accurate.  My car shows Premium only, when in fact it is Premium & Cold optioned.

Re: Finally! Solid overall production figures for the 9-2x!

Options information like packages are not 100% on this spreadsheet. This was covered earlier in this thread.

If you never personally submitted your data via this thread or PM, chances are that the car was spotted somewhere online for sale and the options present were accounted for on the sheet. I was given all the US color data by VIN a few years back, and that included the interior trim (i.e. cloth or leather). I transcribed this interior data onto my file, since a leather interior indicates a car with the Premium package.

What cold/sport/sunroof options data there IS took well over 5 years of hunting and gathering. Pointing out inaccuracies like that is pedantic. down

Re: Finally! Solid overall production figures for the 9-2x!

PM sent with info.

Also, I have Saab East Coast Port Inventory sheets from May 2005 that show both interior and exterior detail as well as Cold/Premium/Sport/NoOpt status, if you're interested.  It has info on a couple hundred vehicles, including VINs.  Let me know if you want it.

Re: Finally! Solid overall production figures for the 9-2x!

That spreadsheet linked in SinisterMatti's post is awesome!  My car was listed in there as well.

Last four is 7036.  The posted info is correct with the exception of packages.  Haven't checked the engine #.  Mine has Cold and Premium packages.

Re: Finally! Solid overall production figures for the 9-2x!

arrow-up Package listings were determined solely from the submissions of members or cars found online. I do not have that information for all cars, and as noted, the breakdowns of packages/colors are approximated.

Colors, trim level, transmission, and VIN data (from US cars) is all verified data.

Gotcha.  It's a very informative list and the other tabs have a wealth of information.  Thanks for putting that together.

Thanks Krazy, it's great that you managed to compile all that info!  Looks like my "rescue" 9-2x (got it for $1k, needed lots of work) was a pretty early build, number 56 if I'm reading the table right?  Cool to know.  Table looks accurate for my car -- premium, Mica, 5MT.

Ha, don't look to close.  It's a great 20-footer smile  No rust though, however I haven't pulled apart the covers around the shock towers.  Prefer to be dumb and happy.  But it's been an NC car most of it's life, so I think it escaped.

Yep, US build #56. Very early car, probably 02/04 build date.

36 cars behind my former 9-2x down the line.  big_smile
