Specs for Bolt on Oil Filler Duct

This is kind of a long shot, but if anyone can help me it's someone here!

This past weekend I went to top off my oil and discovered that the black oil filler duct that runs down the right side of the engine bay into the block had somehow sheared and broken off. Obviously I wasn't about to drive it with an open orifice on top of the engine, so I ordered the new part, Subaru Part #15250AA041, and noticed that the new one has a metal bracket on the side that mine was missing. I can clearly see the hole where that bracket would get bolted down, but mine was somehow missing the bracket and the bolt.

I suspect that the absence of the support bracket is what caused it to eventually fail, so it's a good thing I'm replacing it now. But I don't have the bolt to be able to properly attach that new support bracket to the block! Does anyone have any idea what the specs are on this bolt? I've been going through the PDFs of the service manuals but had no such lucks. If someone knew the UNC or UNEF thread callout that'd be perfect, but any info you can give me to push me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!

Re: Specs for Bolt on Oil Filler Duct

I have one of these sitting on the bench in my workshop so I just double checked it -- it's an M6-1.0mm bolt.  (6mm diameter, 1.0mm thread pitch)  Very common size, if you have any spare bolts from the car you will probably find one.  Length is not too important since it's a through-hole.  Anything 8-15mm long or so will work.

Re: Specs for Bolt on Oil Filler Duct

Any random short 10mm bolt off a Subaru (or any import car) would work.
If you know someone that has ever worked on Subarus, they should have a million in a bin somewhere.

If you want to know the exact part number, its this: https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2005_ … 06120.html

Re: Specs for Bolt on Oil Filler Duct

Thanks to both of you! I got myself a M6-1.0mm and it fit! For anyone needing this information for themselves, you'll probably want a bolt that's less than an inch long. Mine fit, but BARELY, it was started to press into the block from the other side of the hole. Also, like elislider said, it's a 10mm bolt, like every bolt on a Japanese car.
