Welcome to Saab92x.com!

Decided I would make a quick page for my new car, a 2016 VW GTI S. 6-speed manual, all stock. Love the Apple CarPlay and heated seats. Not sure when I might start modifiying. I would prefer to leave it mostly stock but might do some cosmetic upgrades like wheels, headlights, etc.
This is the only pic I have right now, it's dirty and needs a detail.

Congrats on the purchase! I'm sure that will be quite the improvement from your Corolla getting back into a fun car.

It's a huge upgrade! Plus I have a hatch again!

Congrats Drew! I know you've been looking for a while. I hope it was worth the wait.

Very happy for you dude, best of luck man.

Congrats. It seems like a bunch of us ex92xers are now mk7 gti owners.

FoST and GTI seem to be the most common. Obviously some newer WRX'ers too, but that no hatch hurt their chances.

These 2 cars are pretty much the closest we can get to a newer version of the 9-2x without AWD.

We just got a 2015 Ecoboost with cloth Recaro's in at work. It's a pretty cool car. I didn't get a chance to take it for a spin though.

Congrats! Love the paint color.

We need LSD! I'd have looked a lot harder at the ST2/3 if an LSD was packaged.

Thanks! I liked the gray and blue the most, with silver coming in right behind those two.

Unfortunately mine doesn't have the LSD. Need the performance package to get that
Some updates also:
Had the windows tinted at 35% and installed a hitch for my bike rack

These are great driving cars. My mom just bought one (I know how silly that sounds being I am 37) and I love driving hers. She has the DSG non sport package. Super impressed on how the engine sounds when at WOT and how hard it pulls.

In for more pictures. Seriously, when are you going to update this? One crappy gas station photo. Is that all we are worth?

Just sold the GTI
Next vehicle: 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition in Shoreline Blue
Should be here next week.

Why the large change?
I'm selling my FoST in the next few weeks as well. No replacement slated though

Wanted something with more room to go on camping trips with the wife, dog, and any future kids. Always liked the 4Runners. Probably more SUV than I need though.

I just bought a 2018 GTI SE and I am loving it.

Ugh, I feel you on wanting more room for the kiddos. When I was looking for replacements for the saabaru my requirement of 'must be able to fit a rear-facing infant car seat behind the passenger while still enabling reasonable leg room left in the front for a 5'9" passenger' was very restrictive. Definitely ruled out the GTI. Now we've got the car seat bases in both my preza and my wife's Forester and just waiting on our little guy to decide it's time to join us. My wife is due next Tuesday.

Awesome! I'm excited for you guys! My wife and I are still going to wait maybe another year before we try. All my friends are pregnant right now so we will be the last ones, but also the most recently married.
