Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

State vs Federal level.  The state of Hawaii prolly isn't full of Tea Party nutjobs.

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

Guess all my posts in this thread were under my original account.
Got a recent purchase in the mail today, a binary trigger from Franklin Armory for HK firearms.  I don't actually have an HK firearm to put it in...  The thinking was that these devices may get the axe soon so I wanted to get my hands on one before that happened.  If the company is able to keep making them, then they have hinted at coming out with a version for the CZ Scorpion.  This would be the one I'd really like to get.  If they do come out with that version I will pick it up and probably sell the HK version I have since the Scorpion gun is much cheaper than the HK MP5's I was looking at (TPM versions).  Anywho, thread back from the dead smile

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

I picked up a Savage A17 last fall. Received an award at work for completing a Firewall upgrade, and not taking down half of the Medical billing software in the US. On the website for the award they had e-gift cards for for Cabelas, and I decide to cash out the award and got a bunch of e-gift cards for there. Figured I would get a Ruger 10-22, but saw that they had the A17 on sale with a scope. So i bought that and some ammo. I only had to pay $80 to buy the gun. Still have not had a chance to go shooting with it yet though.

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

Back from the gunsmith.  Had him bore out the receiver to allow the larger diameter m4 buffer tube.  This allows the collapsible stock as an option.  I can also go back to a regular setup if I buy the normal M4 stock.

Re: 9-2x The Gun Thread

Mmmmm very nice!!

Kicking myself for not picking up one of those at the sub $1k price of many years ago.
Especially with PA making them legal for Deer Season starting this fall
