But that's just the regular Focus right? Should look better in ST get-up. It's definitely not a diss to say it looks like a Mazda, they've been making some good looking cars recently.

Still, per my new car research there it sounds like there will be a gap in sales here in the states as they move production from here to China - I'd give the new model a year or two for them to work out kinks

That blue one looks like what they call the ST-line (not full ST car, just appearance, according to Jalopnik). I'm guessing the ST will look pretty similar to that one.

The Focus Active will probably be the bigger seller, since it is rivaling the Crosstrek

So basically the ST may look like that but with a couple more red bits? ha. I like that it looks a little more toned down and not overly boy-racer.

I haven't heard of the Focus Active, that'd be interesting to see since the Crosstrek is essentially free from any competition in the lifted hatchback market (excluding lifted wagons of which there are many)

I'm just not that hot on the Ford corporate grill treatment (though i don't hate it as much as what Toyota is doing)

Re: How not to FoST (hammyt's collection of poorly modded FoSTs)

Not a fan at all, looks like my fiancee's Mazda 3 hatch.

I doubt I will like the ST version either.

IMO they have made it worse every exterior change, really glad I got a '14 but also going to sell it this year haha.

That mouth looks so dorky. At least the Mazda is smiling, I don’t know what face the Ford is making.

MY 5 1/2 year old daughter said that the Ford looks like osakana, that’s Japanese for fish.

In general, no, but in this case I might make an exception

Probably pays for a portion of his monthly payments.  Sure, it looks ugly as hell, but if you don't care about how your car looks, money is money.

Or it is the dude who founded that place's car and he loves to rep.  I get it either way.  Still ugly and tacky as fuck.
