Re: New to me...2005 OBXT

Not so much into the monster truck thing but those geolander tires don't look so knobby, perhaps they won't hurt fuel consumption too bad. Be careful with the power mods, you're going to blow it up. Behind every modded turbo outback there is a tragic story.

Yup, critical stuff, you've clearly done the homework.

Re: New to me...2005 OBXT

Okay I got some inspiration....
https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/d3/4f/de/d34fde51092327874e31f08fba676806.jpg

I found a great deal for Goodyear Eagle Sports mounted on Sparco Pro Corsas with only 5,000 mile on them (same wheels as above) for $550.  This setup is 1" taller than stock and will fit without a lift...but I was thinking of adding a 1" - 1.5" lift spacer.

Should I lift the outback!!!

Looks good!  Are you going to drop the ride height or keep it stock?

It will be lowered soon...I have two setups to try.  One stock legacy height and one lowered legacy height...hope to squeeze the tires in

Re: New to me...2005 OBXT

I put a Ford Superduty grille guard in my OBXT when I had it.  Pretty cavernous.  Shit rear legroom though.

Re: New to me...2005 OBXT

I have ordered all new KTB Excel-G struts and KYB top hats. Still trying to decide on springs (Rallitek lift springs vs lifted King Springs or just Rallitek overload vs stock height King springs)  Rallitek said if I go with the lifted spring I should use whiteline adj control arms.
