It has to do with how far I can pull it into my lot. The nose overhang is like 2 or so feet, so I can really only pull in as far as the end of the gravel parking spot I made. The back overhang is ~10 feet, so I can pull in way further. That extra 8 feet puts the bus fully out of the setback from the road, which makes me legal.

Since Photobucket gave everyone the bird I've been defaulting to Instagram lately. We've had an unseasonably warm winter, so I'm chipping away at it. Seats are out, original floor and subfloor stripped, rust treated and painted, sealed up the holes this weekend. Subfloor and insulation is next, then floor, then I actually get to start building.

Update - winter returned here, went from 50-60 degree highs during the day to 30s. Downside is all bus work has stopped, I need to drop insulation and flooring, both of which require an adhesive that needs 45+ degrees to apply. Upside is a nice late season at the local ski resort, had two epic pow days in a week!
