Re: Replace the Saabaaru with a Baja-T

They probably traded it in because they knew the timing belt service was due

I love that color too. I had a Sedona Red Pearl WRX. It looked so pretty when it was clean.

Re: Replace the Saabaaru with a Baja-T

T-belt cost me $650ish when I did in on my OBXT FWIW.  Get all the seals done at the same time.

I paid this to get my head gaskets redone, and they did the belt too.  You got took.

Mixed tires are something that always leads me to believe a car was mistreated.

Same here. I always look at tires (condition, brand, model, and if they match) as one of the biggest clues to a vehicle's maintenance history. If a person can't or won't pay for 4 of the same type of tire, then you can be pretty sure they can't or won't pay for the expensive scheduled maintenance intervals that come up. That thing is a poorly maintained beater with the cheapest replacement parts the owner could find, guaranteed. Stay away.
