Re: The other ST thread, Fiesta STs

Well the performance street tires isn't going to happen lol.  If you are drag racing these cars seriously you run slicks.  They are trying to max the stock block so I'm guessing they won't shy away from the race gas either.

Re: The other ST thread, Fiesta STs

I'm not knocking the use of high octane wink or slicks. It's impressive to see what a stock block can do. But the tune they sell on their site is for 93 octane, and very few people will be running slicks. So what does the performance look like for a car that can be driven around all day on the street?

Well, then what are you good for? I just wanted to know how much they affected the 1/4 mile specs, and since you care about these Fords I thought you would know.

Ew 205 all seasons, nice find tho.  Prolly closer to 13 flat on some proper summers.  Seemed like a lot of spin in 1 and 2

Yeah I think they look good, but then again anyone referring to a Fiesta ST as an ugly econo-shit box isn't worth the time in the first place lol

Being that aesthetic appeal is completely subjective I should have included an "IMO" as that's how I personally feel. I'm not a fan of them at all.

Re: The other ST thread, Fiesta STs

Due to some changing circumstances we need to pick up another car, so I figured a lease on a Fiesta ST might be the right way to go.  Went and built up one on Ford's website and I don't think it's gonna happen.  $13,000 month is a bit too much.

Re: The other ST thread, Fiesta STs

I'm actually considering leasing a FiST. Money is a little tight right now but the idea of having something where I just pay my notes and whatever happens it's covered is highly appealing.

My problem is I would really like to test drive one first and heaven forbid I find one at a dealership. I've loved the FoSTs I've driven before and if I could drive both maybe I can justify the extra $50 a month it would be for that. The extra room would be nice with my newborn son as well.

Just a cam and a tune.
