Cloth seat miracle worker

I gave this product a try on the 'parchment' cloth since my front seats were pretty jazzed up (mainly the passenger side caused by my female passenger who usually decides to put her flip-flop wearing bare feet on my parchment banghead) I sprayed the seating area generously with the foam and wiped it down with a clean MF towel. The seat was wet for a while but next day it looked good as new. But most importantly this does not stain the parchment like spot cleaning with a wet towel as I have done previously.

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

I have some really minor / faint drip spots from accidentally getting some Armor All dash cleaner on the parchment seats. Think this stuff would eliminate those completely?

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

I would give it a try, the stuff is only like 3.99 a bottle and my seats looks brand new. I had a stain spot of P21S wheel cleaner on the passenger seat and it's also gone by using this cleaner.

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

I had that stuff, was a little disappointed it didn't seem to be working.

So I re-read the directions today, scrubed a bit harder, and they key really seems to be the scrubbing with the damp rag after spraying the foam on.

I *WISH* some female had gotten my seats dirty. I just have a dirty, sweaty body.

Give it a shot and please stop using Armor All products on your dash.  The AA stuff is crap and will eventually ruin your dash by drying out the plastics and causing cracking.  I've used 303 Aerospace Protectant for years now and have been really impressed with the stuff but other manufacturers make good quality products for dashes too - AA just isn't one of them.

Thanks for the recommendation I'm going to pick some up. I've used other stuff that left clean spots... mad made the seats look worse.  I'll give this stuff a try.

Thanks  up

For plastics, I use Vinylex from the same makers of Lexol. Says guarantees no
build up and it's good for the plastics.

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

GREAT TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had a stain form when my car was almost new on the pass seat.  some kind of oil residue from setting a wet plastic grocery bag on a blacktop driveway when it had rained.  2 different things had not taken this stain out, tried this stuff; which is almost a year later, and VIOLA  stain gone.

Recommended for sure.

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

the black part on my passenger seat has had a dog drool spot since the day i took delivery on the car and i don't even own a dog. the parchment part on both seats has water marks from WATER which amazes me... if rain gets in on the parchment part it leaves little droplet marks, or if i set a leftover food container or tupperware or something in the passenger seat the condensation stains the seat. i hate these seats

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

for tuffer stains, the key to these foam products is to spray it directly onto the fabric so the expanding action of the foam sorta "lifts" the stains out.  Then proceed to rub it down with a damp cloth or a sponge works too.  My seats still look brand new after a year later using this type of stuff.

for me?  yes, the tuff stuff was a miracle worker.

soaked the seat, then waited a min and used a scotchbrite pad to scrup it a little bit.  then dried it with a cloth and air dried after.

also had a small chocolate stain on the backseat and it was cleaned up no problem.

Thanks for the tip on Tuff Stuff. Any more tips on what to use instead of Armor All?

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

Just read this thread today and I went out to Auto Zone and picked up a can.  It works better than I would have thought.  I've tried Spot Shot and K2R and this is the only thing that gets everything out. Thanks!!!!  saab

Re: Cloth seat miracle worker

Tuff Stuff is very good stuff...i recommend also...

When i used to smoke (quit for two years now) my headliner used to be really dingy looking from smoking in the car...tuff stuff worked wonders when i did a full interior cleaning after i quit...

Now i have the leather interior and I don't smoke so I don't have to worry bout stained fabric anymore....well hopefully anyway...

Hm, I dont have any stains...but the white part of my drivers seat has just gotten dirty.  hmm  Does it help with that?  Does it fade the black or leave any residue?

Thanks

Cheers
