Hey guys just in case you guys missed it on top of the home page in our bulletin, there is a missing family in a 9-2x. If you guys are out there traveling in your winter setup or know of anyone traveling the 5fwy or the 101 lets keep an eye out for them....
I figure I would leave a post here since the OFF TOPIC forum is so well visited.

FYI, "Good Morning America" had a full-story segment on these missing folks just before I left for work this morning (just after 7:30 AM EST), and while I don't think there was specific mention of , this should make many more people aware, and if other national media pick up on it, all the better.

Oh, I heard about that on the radio. I didn't know it was the same story. So the family is okay, but they're still looking for the husband. That doesn't sound good to me. He probably froze looking for help. very sad. But a brave man.

this thing has gotten some mainstream coverage.... on almost every news channel and even on Inside Edition. I heard somewhere they found a pair of pants that he was assumed to have worn..... there was some speculation that a wild animal could have gotten him. which would be really sad. I hope they find this guy alive. He would have one hell of a story to tell.

I saw on the news this morning that they found pants and that he had on more than one pair. They also stated that the pants appeared to be left on purpose as possibly a marker.

From CNN.com:
The dead body of James Kim -- who left his wife and children in a snowbound car while he went for help -- has been found in the Oregon wilderness, law enforcement officials confirm.

That's what I've been wondering. I figure given his occupation, it's probably likely. He never put himself on the map if he was here, so we'll probably never know.
