Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

It’s a kenwood DNX 7100 with gps and Bluetooth.  It’s a few years old but was pretty nice. I had put it up on eBay and it has a bid so if your interested in it you’ll have to buy it through there now.

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

I'm picking up a 06 aero this weekend, wish I knew if it needed anything. If you're going to scrap the hood, you should at least take the scoop out as somebody might just need that piece.

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

Driver side headlight arrived, packaging effort was good, box was too small and bumper cover bracket plastics broke in transit. However, seller was super fair on price and I'm satisfied with the headlight, it is installed, it has been working flawlessly, stayed dry in the rain.
Despite the box sizing mistake, I'm 100% satisfied with the transaction and will not hesitate to buy more parts from the seller.
Thank you very much.

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

Thanks for the good feedback Rodman! Mattfeyhay- I’m only getting rid of the shell and some parts that are damaged too much to sell. Im going to hold onto anything that might be of use. Good idea on the hood scoop. I wish the hood was in better shape...

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

Id rather not ship, I just don’t think it’s worth it with the dents it has- But looks like with my time crating, supplies, and oversized charges I would do $350 shipped. If your still interests pm your number so I can send more photos first.

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

I need the plastic trim from the rear hatch. Some posts call it the "garnish".
Here's a link to the part. https://www.esaabparts.com/saab/parts/32009168  Is the paint very faded on yours?

Also, I could use the fog lights and the fog light switch if they aren't damaged.

I also need the fuse compartment cover (from the interior).  Just let me know your interest in selling/shipping these things to 63122 and prices. Thanks.

Fog lights and fog light switch aren't saab specific, same with fuse cover.  Search the forum for info on fog lights, I think someone posted the parts from a Toyota that match up.

Fog lights are shared with the mid-2000s Prius, Scion tC, Toyota Highlander, Subaru Forester, etc.

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

The garnish is a pain to remove, the plastic is very brittle and cracks very easy, go slow when removing it.

I’m in need of the rear trunk garnish. I accidentally broke mine trying to remove it. Is it still available?

Re: Parting out 2006 aero.

If you still have hood scoop and AC condenser, I would be interested in pricing shipped to 84036.

The hood scoop is NLA, try to refinish the one you have.

A used A/C condenser (or any used A/C component) is asking for trouble. RockAuto's most expensive condenser is $75. Buy new.

Just replaced my AC compressor on the 9-2x.  Bought OEM Subaru part for around $480.

+1 to this. I parted a number of Subarus/9-2x, always surprised me how keen some people were to get parts I would never reuse. AC parts are the best example, can make a mess of the rest of the system, need an additional evac and recharge...
