FS 2005 92x Linear 5MT 187k Upstate NY Runs Drives or for parts $1000

Long Story Short, original owner, salvaged in 2011 (has NYS salvage certificate) when parked and hit by a tractor trailer and parts were no where to be found. Have been driving it ever since as a third vehicle/winter car/rally car with SCCA. Have a family now and I am looking at picking up a used Outback for winter to better fit car seats, etc.

Motor, Tranny, all solid, compression fine. Gates Tbelt kit done around 140k. All records. Synthetic Oil Changes. Does have rust on fenders, doors, and rear quarters.

For the majority of it's life the car was driven roughly 20k miles a year by my wife. Over the last few years we have used this as a third vehicle, mainly a winter car for myself and have averaged 4K miles a year. The car runs and drives great still with no check engine lights. Majority of the maintenance was performed by myself or @ Turning Leaf Automotive in Rochester.

The car was deemed a total loss by insurance on 12/2011 @ 135k miles (because Saab went out of business and stopped making parts). The car was backed into by a tractor trailer while parked on 5 & 20 in Clifton Springs. There was damage to the front bumper, grill, head light, hood, driver fender, driver wheel/tire, driver door, and mirror. We purchased the car back from insurance and after a parts search had the car fixed at O’Conner Collision. We then have proceeded to drive it for the last 8 years and 53k miles.

The car does have salvage paperwork and not a rebuilt title so it will not be able to be registered legally without passing the DMV Rebuilt/Salvage Inspection for Stolen Parts (we realized we could keep driving it and registering it with salvage paperwork so we never had the inspection done).

The car failed NYS Inspection earlier this year as the non structural front lower U subframe is rusted.  Some will just unbolt this completely and have it inspected. I never had the time to do it. The car passed emissions at that time with no CEL.

The car will need rear rotors replaced or resurfaced, caliper sliders should all be cleaned and lubed. Just from the car sitting outside and being driven just a few times a month.
