WTB Saab 92x Aero

Hi everyone, so I’m looking to buy a 92x Aero. Looking for something very clean and maintained perfectly. I’m very ocd when it comes to my cars. Has to be M/T. To put it in better perspective, I’m looking for something like this https://www.saab92x.com/viewtopic.php?id=85964 . I was just too late on it. So if you have something comparable or know someone that dose, please send me a text or just comment down below if you have anything. Thanks so much for you’re time.

Re: WTB Saab 92x Aero

That car had rust. I could be persuaded to sell my car for the right amount of $$$$$. It’s rust free and jdm STi ver 7 swapped.

Re: WTB Saab 92x Aero

Long Island NY
There is a thread on post my ride that documents my ownership time and rebuild process.
I don’t drive the car on salted roads, it’s a fair weather only car.
You won’t need a neck brace but it is fun enough. It has a JDM STi ver 7 motor with basic stage 2 power modifications. I replaced the original VF30 turbo with a VF48, essentially they are the same flow rate turbos but the VF48 is more efficient. Does Have injector Dynamics 850 fuel injectors to take full advantage of the VF48. Has a Walbro 255 fuel pump, Cobb 3 port boost controller, cobb up pipe, Cobb turbo back exhaust, Perrin turbo inlet, Perrin crank pulley, etc etc. The engine was gone thru when I got it, still has no oil leaks and consumes no oil whatsoever between my oil change intervals of 4,500 miles using Rotella T6. Has Koni struts, pink springs, group N top hats, Subaru 20mm sway bars. Matching ver 7 6 speed transmission with new seals and shift linckage bushings, matching R180 rear diff also with new seals and adjusted lash. The drive train is very nicely quiet and has no oil leaks. Matching prop shaft and cv axles, STi rear hub knuckles with new bearings, extended lugs. Red Subaru 4/2 pots with new pads and rotors, goodridge stainless brake hoses. There is many other details I’m forgetting but you get the idea, the car was rebuilt to be fun and comfortable with longevity in mind. I have never sat and totaled all the receipts but I probably spent around 20,000 rebuilding the car. Many many new parts, a lot of oem Subaru parts or good quality performance parts. I know I’ll never get what I put into it and that it is not a perfect car. I also know that for me to sign the title to a new owner I’d have to have $14,500 put in my hands. Not a penny less.

Re: WTB Saab 92x Aero

I'll sell you mine. More mods than Rodman, similar build(full v7 swap...), full flex fuel car, put down 400whp easy on a low reading mustang dyno. Pretty much everything on the car has been touched/upgraded. Car is off my insurance and on non op, only being driven around the block once a week.

I bought the car completely stock and have done everything myself besides the tuning, which was done by snailperformance every step of the way. Religiously maintained and runs extremely well. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Paint is a bit rough in the normal spots(scoop, hatch etc..), shitty Subaru black paint...drivers front fender has some dings but I have a spare in great shape. Extra headlights as well. MOST importantly NO RUST, as this car has spent most of its time in CA and has never been east of Utah.

10.5k and it's yours... this car could be parted out and bring back ~20Kish easily, I just don't have the time and desire to do so at this point in my life. It runs too well and is sorted nicely, be a shame to take it apart but I'm not scared to do so if neccessary
