Looking for advice on 92x aero with new engine

For  sale is a 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero W/ 5k miles on the engine, 82k on the Trans, 176k on the dash. ($4500)
It spend itís first 10 years Garaged when not driving.
Available proof of maintenance
bout 5k Miles ago (about 11 months ago) I had the following work done / parts installed:

NEW Subaru EJ257 STI 2.5L short block Engine
REBUILD 2.0L heads chamber matched to fit the 257 Block by Larrys Power in CT
New Arp Head Studs
New Subaru Oil Pump
New Subaru Oil Cooler
New Subaru Water Pump
New Subaru Timing Belt + Pully Kit
New Injector dynamics ID1000 injectors
New DW300 Fuel Pump
New Subaru Fuel Pressure Regulator
New Subaru MAF Sensor
New Subaru O2 sensors (the header, up pipe, down pipe)
New Subaru Coil Packs and spark plugs
New Clutch kit
New Subaru Block Heater
3Ē Catless downpipe with heat wrap (I think Invidea, I donít remember)
SRS Catback Exhaust (this downpipe / exhaust combo sounds amazing!)
Replaced up pipe with used 5k Mile OEM up pipe
New Subaru Transmission mount
Used 77k mile 5 speed Transmission + fresh trans fluid
Replace Gear oil in Rear Diff
New Passenger side front axel
New Battery
New Subaru Gas Cap
New Saabaru Passenger front Fender Ė perfectly Paint matched
New KYB top hats on all struts
Break in Map by ESC in CT

Also Recent (approx. 10k miles) - New 4x Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires

I just noticed that there is a minor valve cover gasket leak as well as the start of a head gasket leak. The car does not, and has NEVER over-heated because of this. NO coolant in oil, NO oil in coolant.   I donít have the space to do the work on the car, so I am selling as is Ė this is a great opportunity to get a rare car with MANY MANY MANY low mile upgrades at a cheap price. The car has been on the break in map / stock turbo this whole time, as I was saving up to get a bigger turbo / intercooler installed. So it has been babied these 5k miles. It runs great, shifts great, and drives great! Change that head gasket, and off you go! Clean title in

Can someone inform me about the risks in purchasing this car? It seems like a lot of work has been done. I do not understand how it is only $4500?

Thank you much in advance.

Re: Looking for advice on 92x aero with new engine

You're buying someone else's headache and incomplete project, there is likely more wrong with it than listed. But if you're comfortable pulling the engine and sorting out issues it could be a great buy, a lot of money went into that engine. All that money and time yet after 11 months still limping around on a break in map? Must be comical to drive a 2.5l with a td04 turbo, definitely need to replace that.

Would be worth finding out who put the engine together, then avoid them in the future.

I think that price is a touch on the high side but not far from reasonable if it's in good condition. Any more details on the car in question?

Personally I'd avoid that $4,500 headache since you'd have to spend some cash up front to get it working properly and even then if there's a problem with the other head gasket, more cash to get that side shored up based on the poor job of the shop that did the original install.

This actually doesn't sound all that bad.  Just depends on the condition and maintenance history.
