Awesome man. Which trim and color did you get? Any mod plans?
Join the Alltrack groups on Facebook for sure.

2017 Platinum Grey Metallic SEL trim. Weighing tuning options APR/Unitronic/Burger Tuning..... etc.

What are your ultimate goals for it and I can give you some advice.

I'm considering dumping my B7 for a Sportwagen or Alltrack.

I'm looking for similar/or better linear power to my 9-2x that I have been enjoying for 13 years (still sitting in the driveway)
-mulling over the tuning companies for the last few days...

OMG....I am in love with this car. It is exactly how I would want an Alltrack set up! And running a 12.6....holy lord. The 1.8 is pretty stout. My Stage 2+ Saabaru only ran a best of 13.2
What would you put the modification price point at for just the go fast bits, suspension and wheels excluded?
I will need a second car in about a year or two to replace our aging 07 Altima, and I can probably pick one of these up low miles for a hell of a good price.

IS38 turbo (golf R) - $1000
Golf R injectors - $270
modded Golf R downpipe (removed first catalytic converter) - $140
JB4 (used) - $300
BMS Water-Meth Injection kit - $300
Misc - $400
Total'ish - $2400
Now, I really need a DSG tune, and I went with Eurodyne because they were supposed to have maestro come out soon. It'll be similar to RomRaider. I didn't install that until afterwards, and that was $1100 for both. I am also looking into a true 3" downpipe too. My goal is 11s with the car.
There is a sportwagen with similar mods running [email protected] - He is using APR IS38 100 octane tune and DSG tune. He is also a few hundred pounds lighter than I am.

I say IS20 turbo (GTI), JB4, and modded OEM downpipe. This will be about $800 in total parts, and you will be in the low 13's high 12s.

Is is easy to tell is20 from is12 (warranty concerns)..?

Eh, installed no. Uninstalled they would look at the part number if they care.

Going big turbo and full e85 shortly.

Pretty impressive! How much power is it making in its current form? Sleeper
