Do you have the rear leather headrest covers? I just noticed you swapped to cloth. I am in need of them since I just swapped to leather.

I only have the small headrest in leather, the middle position. Let me know if you want it, thanks. Progress is slow, I'm only dedicating 2 hours in the morning during the week and a few hours on sunday. Slow going is ok with me.

My outback is a 2008, fucking tire monitor sensors go bad and cost $80 per wheel installed. I'm the type of person that can't tolerate lights on the dashboard telling me something is wrong, irritates the lights out of me.
I would pull the bulb on that one

Don't think I didn't consider that option :sad banana:

Not much to show for today, decided to do a little more work on the project. Most went well but have one of the engine mount nuts threatening to strip. It was time to walk away from it at that point. Soaked the area with liquid wrench, will give it a go again later in the week. Did some back yard cleaning and went for a woods bike ride, feeling good about it all.

Good weather day, went for a woods ride, ate good sushi and spent some quality time with my rescue car project. My friend Jim came by and helped me pull the motor.
Koni strut inserts progress
Separate STi transmission next week, shifter linkage bushings half done as I'm waiting on correct bushings and pins.
The car was hit on the passenger side, going to send it to a friends body shop and have it checked to make sure there is no issues with the sell.

Yup, the brake rotor is removed in this picture.

Finished the koni strut insert in between jobs at work.
A little paint on the rusted areas I cleaned with the wire wheel, new wagon pinks and KYB top hats will complete the job.
Anybody interested in a cheap set of cheap coilovers ? $200 shipped

What brand coils are those?
Offline
I'm sure the previous owner purchased them on Ebay, they are one of those strange brands sold there.
Not going to use them, I'll be running koni/pinks, I had that setup before an really liked it.
Coilovers will be for sale soon.

You're running the r180 diff with the stock hubs? What are you going to do for rear axles?

Yeah they look like generic Chinese coils. I didn't hate mine, should fetch ya like $400 or so depending on the condition/if they are stuck.

They sell new for around $400 new, I'd be happy with $200, they have very little use.

Just say they are BCs and you can get 4.

I have the R180, the STi cv axles and 04 5x100 STi hubs/knuckles to go with the diff. Also have red 4/2 pot subaru brake calipers.
