Man that splitter is slick. And not much more in cost than the Sti ones I've run across on ebay that still need to be tin snipped to death.

Holy ferrite Batman! That should kill all those high frequency pixies.
Was having constant problems with Rom Raider freezing all the time. I also have some installed on the OBD wires just behind the actual OBD port, never frozen now.
Splitter fits perfect, box description says it is for 02-03 wrx, didn't have to modify anything, me like too.
Also installed a set of Whiteline endlinks to complement my new oem 20mm front and rear swaybars, feels great.
VF48 tune is almost finished, car drives smooth as glass, so happy.
Stephen Clark has awesome work ethic, has done 20 map revisions as of today, logs are looking super clean. Some very minor knock that is probably all gone on the map I just flashed. Did some logging earlier today but had no chance to read them yet but I'm confident is going to be perfect.
I'm around 200 miles away from having matching actual miles to the UKDM prodrive cluster I just picked up recently, I think Ill install it July 4th.
Very happy the way the rescue project is now, feels great driving it every day, I'm obviously obsessed with it.

I'm running a big STI TMIC as well, what's the deal with the GS splitter? It looks like the IC area is a bit wider and the heat vent is a bit smaller? The copy on their website makes it sound like the bees knees, what were your thoughts when comparing it to the stock one?

Snow, in person at a glance you can see it is working over a larger area of the intercooler. Really makes the most out of small scoop. I've looked with the hood lowered to see how the diverter seal overlaps the cooler core and it is perfect. Hood shot you can see they opened up the forced air over the core area, honeycombed over the turbo vent area is not as open to the scoop. Vents different than stock, for sure.

Good info thanks. Interesting that you made the 02-03 WRX work, looks like they sell a 9-2x specific version.

I run the 02-03, fits perfect like rodman said, and the install is simple. Quality leaves a lot to be desired IMO. Mine has already fallen apart after a little over a years use.

You should call Grimmspeed and let them know what is going on, I bet they would replace it under warranty. It's not a cheap part, I expect good quality and durability.
I ordered the 92x aero splitter, they sent the 02-03 part, I didn't realized that until after I had already completed the installation and was scrapping the box.
Also, my intercooler now sits 1" farther back from original, lucky the splitter fits perfect.

UKDM gauge cluster installed, ABS light on as predicted. Does look beautiful, shift light is cool.

Now I need to figure out how to change the temperature display to fahrenheit.

Learning to read celsius is much cheaper!
Offline
Just get the S203 center console setup and convert it all over to Celsius

I'll just ask SIRI to convert for me.
ABS light very irritating.

Never came across that one on my search, thanks man. Have you done the mod on your car ?

Not yet. I would like to, mostly for the DCCD lights.

You replied in that thread on 5/18?
I would just pop the plastic off and cover it with something if it bothers you. Forget wiring in relays etc...seems like a hassle

I noticed that last night when I went back to it.
I think I'll do what you suggest, fucking around with wires is not my thing.

Final map for the vf48, stock air box and 2017 top mount flashed. It is E tuned by Stephen Clark from IA Tuning / IA Performance. The VF48 was Stephen’s recommendation during a conversation discussing my unhappiness with the Blouch 18G-XTR I had before. I’m extremely happy that the vf48 is perfect for me needs, so happy driving it.

I'm bored, need new project.

Build a Ford Transit with 4wd and turbo. I'm sure you'll get it finished before what's-his-face does!

I hear you, my saab is going up for sale here shortly. If I can find a buyer to give me a reasonable amount for what I have into it I'll sell it whole, or I'm just going to spend the winter parting it out and get my $ that way.
Not looking forward to the low ball offers if around 4-5k lol.
