Stay away from Sunnyvale's B&B Saab on El Camino!

Went to have a free 100 point inspection and to take care of my airbag recall, and all I have to report is that these people know nothing about cars or customer service! Do yourself a huge favor and stay far away from this dealership/service department!!! I just wasted an entire day fighting things that should be common sense for the general population, but these people had absolutely no clue how to handle! It's like they were a bunch of monkeys trying to push a square peg into a round hole....

Man I'm glad I did not go to those guys...  They were on my list for the air bag recall.  I ended up going to Dirito Brothers in Walnut Creek, which in itself was a journey considering I'm in Reno and they were one of the nearest shops to do the recall.

Sorry to hear that your experience at B&B did not go well.  I used them to get all my dealer-only parts when I had an independent shop.  Their parts department was top-notch.  That was a very long time ago though (late 80s, early 90s), so they're certainly under different management, and probably new ownership too.

WOAH that's quite the trek. I had mine done at Kuni Chevy in Sacramento however that was a couple years back. At least you got it taken care of! Stinks there wasn't a GM dealer closer in your area who were willing to do it.

I had to go to Dirito brothers as well because Kuni said they weren't servicing saabs anymore. I had a pleasant experience at dirito though. Thats too bad B&B was such a bust though...

Re: Stay away from Sunnyvale's B&B Saab on El Camino!

I went to them a few months ago to have my airbag done. They said they had the part and to bring my car in anytime because it'd only take about 30-45 mins. So I drove over there which was about 45 minutes. When I get there they say, "Oh...it's one of those...(referring to the 92x) This is going to take 3-4 hours." facepalm even though I told them what car I had on the phone.

I ended up waiting the 3 hours because I had a ton of trouble getting my airbag done from other places and just wanted it done. It really would have been nice to know it was going to take so long.
