**** SOLD 2/6/15 to Owensjef****
Hi guys, putting my car up for sale. It has been a really good run but it is time for something new. Site member since before I bought the car and have enjoyed all the fun here over the years.
Details
2005 Saab 92x Aero - 49xxx miles - 5 speed manual - Satin Gray - Cold weather package
Located in Louisville, KY.
Asking $ 7,500
The good:
Orignal, one-owner car
Low, low miles. Mechanically awesome. No issues, runs great. Stuff works the way it should.
Recent (12/2013) preventative maintenance includes timing belt/tensioner, water pump, both radiator hoses, thermostat, valve cover gaskets, front CV axles, front and rear rotors and pads.
Accessport V1 Stage 1 since 2008-ish, don't really remember. Still have the Accessport V1 and supporting stuff
17 inch sport wheels wrapped in Continental DWS, lots of tread left
Ixiz hood struts
Also included at asking price:
- Prodrive glossy black metal shift knob
- Prodrive floor mats
- 16 inch stockers with ancient awful tires
- Roof rails and strips from WRX wagon
- An extra set of headlamps with TSX projectors installed. Bought them here forever ago. They worked, but aren't moisture sealed
The meh:
Cosmetically pretty good. Missing front emblem, a few dings and scratches.
The bad:
In 12/2007 was sideswiped by drunk driver while street parked overnight. Had all damage repaired professionally as covered by the offending driver's insurance. No residual issues, but a Carfax will show body damage from 2007.
The rear hatch handle is starting to stick.
That's it.
I have all the books, keys, even the original window sticker. Clean title in hand.
It's a good car and I hope to find it a good home. I'll pick you up at the airport if you wanna fly in.

You could probably ask for more than you are, low miles and original owner.

Geeeez that's a deal! Honestly OP it's worth more. I bought my Aero, 45k miles, and salvage/rebuilt title 2 and a half years ago for 8k. With a clean title and very limited meh or bad stuff to mention, plus original owner, plus OG forum member not scamming with feet and meet, this is a 10k car in my opinion.

I have it priced aggressively for a reasonably quick sale and to give another forum member a good deal.
Looking to complete sales transaction locally for now, may be open to shipping if the car sits for a while.

Full disclosure: they worked years ago when I first got them, but the backs are literally sealed with duct tape. As soon as it rains they get moisture inside. Haven't messed with them for a long time. Might make for a good project though!

Yep, a few hail dents on the hood and at least one on the roof. Ten year old car with some cosmetic flaws. Happy to provide more pics or details if anyone is interested.

It's a good car. Certainly not showroom perfect, but well maintained and could easily be driven several states away if you want to fly in. SDF gets lots of cheap flights because of the UPS hub here. I just drove to/from Wisconsin a few weeks ago with zero concerns

- A few people have asked about getting a pre-purchase inspection. I use a local independent garage called Robert's Imports to maintain the car. They do general repairs, maintenance and also tuning/speed parts.

The owner knows the car and could probably tell you anything you'd like to know. I just had it there around Thanksgiving to give the cooling system a once-over and have the oil changed. I am sure they will do a PPI for a fee (paid by the buyer).
