Hey guys, new to the forum (as you can see from my post count).
So, here's the deal:
Over the summer I bought a 2006 Saab 92x Aero with a cold weather package over in Jersey. Automatic transmission, unfortunately. 3rd owner.
133k miles currently, never been in an accident. Several dings and dents on the outside. It's red (not sure what the exact color name is). Got it for $6500 out the door.
I've replaced the alternator and the power steering pump over the past few months as they both failed and dropped in a K&N. Probably going to do the radiator/timing belt in the next 4-6 months (I don't put many miles on a car - maybe 4500/year). Everything else on the car is totally stock, never been modified. The KBB seems to be about $7800, but based on what I've seen on forums like this and a few others, the real price should be considerably higher. I've seen the prices for the 2005 Aero to be all over the place, from as low as $5700 to as high as $13000. I haven't found another 06 Aero for sale in the US at all.
My question is this: without actually seeing it (as I'm trying to work out how to post images) what would you say my car is worth?

The fact that the timing belt still hasn't been done at 133k is the biggest biggest downfall. Then Automatic. I'd say if you're lucky, 7000.

Gotcha. If I were to do the timing belt, what would the price jump to?
Also, why is the 06 92x worth so much less than the same year WRX?

Timing belt was due at 105K. Do it now or your car's value may soon drop considerably.

why people neglect timing belts is just mind bottling. 
lack of avail parts negates our rarity. Also, less demand than wrx (oddly.)

When the timing belt has been neglected you know everything else has been neglected, shows lack of ownership pride and indifference towards the vehicle. No proper service history and records means I walk away.

Why didn't you do the timing belt? Your car is a ticking time bomb.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Craigslist it! Everyone on there wants something for half of nothing and thinks their garbage is worth it's weight in rusty gold

FYI..... not driving it a lot isn't going to save you from that ticking time bomb that you have now. I'd recommend setting up an appointment to get that done sooner rather than later and get them to let you know of any other possible repairs needed to pass along to the next owners. This will also help you determine what the car is worth.

Is the timing belt replacement interval the same 105,000 miles on the 2.5 also ?

Yes. 105,000/10 years on pretty much every Subaru with a timing belt.

I' have an 05 with 77k miles I guess it's time now for the timing belt also since I'm at 10yrs. Anyone know how much it would cost in labor?

I'm having mine done today - They just called back after completing the service and said it would be $837 including tax. They supplied the parts so that's parts and labor.

If you do the timing belt maybe someone will buy it for $7000 but the automatic transmission hurts its value. Idk that is high miles. Why are you selling?
