Well I bought a Saab 92x aero after I graduated high school cause the old subi was having some problems, never thought I would modify it..

Started with the basics, accessport v2, cat back, some mudflaps, window tint.

Later went stage 2 with a catless up pip, down pipe, and cobb intake. Also did some short shifter, bushings, anti-lift kit, lots of yellow rubber bushings that make squeaky noises and sway bars.

Now just finished stage 3 with a Blouch 19t, ID1000cc's, deleated TGV's, grimspeed EBC, STI TMIC, Perrin inlet. Also put in some leather wrx interior, vinyl wrapped it, and LOTS of other goodies.

Getting it tuned for E85, this should be fun.. Dyno graph soon to come..

Since the mods are never ending thought I'd start a build thread show you guys my car and get some input along the way.

Fixing some axles and putting in steering rack bushings next week.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised but I have to say that the stormtrooper look you've got going on looks kick ass. Think you might ever Koji mod those headlights?

I had been thinking on this color scheme recently since my paint is basically shot. It looks awesome, did you black the roof?

Yes 3m 1080 black for the roof and mirrors, dipped scoop and Hexis white for the rest of the car.
The original color was arctic silver.

Basically you open up your headlights and paint the insides black. Here's a shot of mine.

I did almost as much black as possible...only leaving the dish reflector surface behind the headlights chrome and everything else black. Some people do a lot less and just paint the outside trim piece. Search Koji mod on this forum and you'll find plenty of examples and instructions. It's not all that hard. You just have to be careful and make sure you really take your time on masking and painting.

I think it'd look amazing on your car. Honestly, I think it looks great on every 9-2x but yours is an even better candidate because of the white/flat black scheme you've got going already.

It's possible that you loose a little bit of light output from doing the koji mod, but not noticeably. The vast majority of the light is still reflected in the dishes that you leave chrome. There's really no downside to doing it other than the time an effort. Even the risk of not sealing them properly is pretty low assuming you're careful.

Damn, someone beat me on the White intake manifold! Oh well, was delaying it so I could get all my 'mani-off' work done in one weekend. Great white look, I'd go the exact same route right now with the black roof if I wouldn't be cloning my wife's '11. I agree on the Koji Mod too.

Thanks. The vinyl on the scoop always bubbles from the intercooler heat, had a can of plastidip so thought id try it out..
But the seats are sooooooo confy!
