Here's the story:

Last night, I'm driving my Legacy (92 Legacy turbo) on a highway, getting ready for my left lane exit and come up on a newer Ford Focus sedan. I'm staying close to him and while on the off ramp, we come up on another car and slow down. This ramp merges on another highway that's heavily traveled in that area (lots of cars in the right lane, as they slow down and get off for various streets), so you've gotta move over to the left as soon as you can to avoid being stuck behind all of them.
So we're a group of 3 cars, me being the last.
I see an opening in the left lane, move into it and get ready to go by the Focus (which at that point is to my right, as he hasn't moved over yet). At this point, the Focus probably thinks "why the heck would some POS old car pass me?" and punches it to get right in front of me....Well, he does (as I wasn't driving hard...don't think I even downshifted) and then starts to move into the left most lane. At that point, he's getting on it pretty hard and I start seeing some whitish smoke come out from under him. I kept following him for about another half mile or a little longer and the smoke became worse (got dakered and more of it). Since he's driving fast, he can't see any of it yet, as it gets blown under the car and behind him...I was going to catch up to him and honk and tell him he blew his load, but I had to pull off for my exit and he continued straight. So I didn't get a chance to see the look on his face once he saw the smoke. I got a laugh out of it though. He "smoked" me alright, haha.
Not a racing story by any means, but I thought you might find it funny as well.
Either way, I love sleeper cars. Sometimes, people don't know what they get themselves into when they try to pick on you.
