embeer *I'm gonna use this space to document the progress of my car. I'll also try to add a few How-To's up as I go along...* embeer

I've already got a car for the track, so I'm not doing anything too crazy to the 92x. I'm trying to make it more fun, but reliability is my main priority...

Yea. What hangers did you use? I think the stockies make the tip fit the cutout perfectly... up

I don't know why, but I read that as "ho-hos".

Lookin good Chet.
I actually like the first set of wheels better than the RK's.  I think they go nice on the black car.

Re: chet90si's '06 Aero

eurospek: I don't know man...maybe your stockers are stretched out... I did notice that the stock axleback is noticably heavier than the Prodrive, maybe it stretches out the hangers over time? The previous owner put on a Prodrive when he had it too, so this car has only driven about 2,000 miles total with the stocker... not enough time to stretch them out I guess.

hack: Yea, if the wheels were 17's instead of 18's, I would've have kept them no doubt...but the Rota's were just WAY too heavy for me. Seriously, I never got around to weighing them, but I've never had such a hard time picking up a wheel before...the car felt so much quicker when I put on the BBS's...

Might be the problem, I have some Kartboy hangers that I will be installing with Stage 2, and good call on the wheels, with a drop they would look even better, 18" are a little big for the 9-2X if you ask unless you're Alan l. with Prodrive PFF-7  biggrin

Re: chet90si's '06 Aero

So I tried to install the GP Moto Intake Elbow today...with no luck  banghead I was even taking pictures of the whole process to make a "How-To"...

The inside of the headlights/fender on the  92x are apparently shaped completely differently than the WRX. There is no possible way to get the elbow to fit...there's just not enough room.  mad I even spent an hour sanding the damn thing down in specific areas in hopes that it might be able to squeeze in there...but it was a no go...

If you were planning on buying a GP Moto elbow...pass on it. It won't work... mad

EDIT: It might have something to do with my car being an '06... confused
